I had one of my friends from Lawn Love reach out to me today to alert me that Illinois was getting a national shout out - for all of the invasive plants that are trying to take over here.
When it comes to Illinois' invasive plant ranking, the Land of Lincoln proudly lands at #5. Bush honeysuckle, oriental bittersweet, teasel, and purple loosestrife are among the invasive plants you'll see in Illinois. Since it is common knowledge that I am the opposite of a green thumb, I should try to purposely grow invasive plants and that would effectively kill them all. Illinois invasive plant problem solved. You are welcome.
