Have you ever adventured in Elephant Rocks State Park? It's a very scenic place located near Belleview, Missouri. I saw Only In Your State mention it recently and it's worth checking out if you're not familiar.

When I say the rocks are as big as elephants, I'm not kidding. See for yourself.

Charles Peek adventured in Elephant Rocks State Park a couple months ago and shared a sweet walking tour of the area. I could argue this is one of most scenic parts of Missouri.

The official website for Elephant Rocks State Park estimates these massive rocks are 1.5 billion years old. While not everyone agrees with how scientists determine age of rocks and such, let's assume they're very very old. Gotta love facts.

If you've never been to Elephant Rocks State Park or plan to return for a visit, the official website has lots of helpful information about what you can and can't do there. You won't find a prettier part of the Show Me State to check out in my opinion.
