This $300 Million Dollar Theme Park is Coming to Missouri in 2024
This just might be the nicest theme park in the Midwest once it goes live in 2024. A $300 million dollar family amusement park is planned for Missouri's Lake of the Ozarks and it looks like it will be epic.
It will be called The Oasis at Lakeport according to a press release by the developer. Skyview Partners and Tegethoff Development out of St. Louis provided details of what is envisioned as a state-of-the-art theme park set to be located on their Lakeport property at Highway 54 and Jeffries Road adjacent to the Grand Glaize Bridge. This is the approximate location according to Google Maps.
The video shared by the developer shows a stunning layout of roller coasters, rides and other attractions.
There are still a lot of approvals by authorities before this amusement park becomes a reality, but the press release says the hope is that the Oasis at Lakeport will add 500 jobs and bring 500,000 more visitors to Lake of the Ozarks annually.
It's quite a vision for what might result in one of the largest family-friendly entertainment options in Missouri if completed. If this is something you're interested in, you can follow the development of the Oasis at Lakeport through the official developer website.
