The ORIGINAL Beauty And The Beast Is Playing In Quincy
Beauty and the Beast—the 1991 animated feature, not the 2017 remake—is coming back to the Quincy big screen this weekend.
The classic film remains a favorite for many a movie-goer (children AND adults) and a theatrical re-release is sure to entertain the little ones and likely fire up the nostalgia bug for those of us who saw it as kids 26 years ago.
The movie plays at 6:00 pm Friday and 2:00 and 6:00 pm throughout the weekend at the Quincy Mall theatre. Tickets are just $3.99 for all ages and are available HERE.
Still one of Disney’s most cherished stories of all time, the 1991 original became the first animated movie to receive an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture. The 2017 remake starring Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, and Luke Evans is currently the highest grossing movie of 2017, earning more than $1.2 BILLION worldwide.
