There are a lot of new laws about to go into effect in Missouri. One is a little more controversial than others. Perhaps you've heard that it's about to become illegal to be homeless in Missouri, but is it really true? The answer is complicated.

The fact that this is a law means someone has done it before and gotten busted. I'm talking about a supremely dumb thing you could possibly do to a dog in Normal, Illinois that the law says would result in you going to jail.

If you go to the southeastern part of Missouri, don't even think of wearing this if you're a woman. It will get you locked up and they'll likely throw away the key. That's a slight exaggeration, but it is illegal there and I'll prove it.

I've seen a few fence posts that had a rather peculiar color on the top and never knew what it meant until now. The color in question is purple and if you see it on a the top of a fence post in Missouri or Illinois, you need to turn around immediately and leave. It's a law.

Whatever you do, don't ask the question what the dumbest driving law is in the world. You went ahead and did it anyway, didn't you? Well, by far it's this one in Missouri and it's a real headscratcher what someone was thinking.

One of the first things many people think of when it comes to St. Louis, Missouri is beer. However, did you know there is one thing you are not allowed to do with this sudsy beverage in the big city? It's possible you were breaking the law and didn't even know it.

I have some friends who unknowingly were breaking the law years ago I think. Did you know that 4 women cannot rent a house together in Missouri? The reason why made me laugh and hopefully will you, too.

I want to be clear that I (and most sane people) consider this to be a very bad idea. However, I'm not here to judge. I'm here to determine if it's legal to shave while you're driving in Missouri. If I told you yes, would you be surprised? Then prepare to be surprised, but there is a catch.

Some people laughed at the premise of the movie "Footloose". How could a town ban dancing? Did you know that a Missouri town really did ban dancing and they got away with it.

Some do's and don'ts are common sense. Don't step on Superman's cape. Don't spit into the wind. And, don't run if you're a milkman in St. Louis. That last one is a real thing by the way.
