There's almost no way to completely eliminate invasive carp in Illinois river systems. The fish are so pervasive, they are likely something generations will be trying to deal with. But, there's a desperate effort underway to stop these evil fish from reaching the Great Lakes and causing a catastrophe.
What would you consider a whopper? I'm guessing by just about anyone's measure this would qualify. A man in Illinois just landed a humongous 109-pound big-head carp and it's real not a fish story.
If you're a carp in Missouri, you better watch out. The state has a plan to get rid of you and it looks like they're willing to pay to get the job done.
You need a job done? Let me and my redneck friends do it. Don't believe me? Watch what my people did recently when they were made aware there were invasive and evil carp in an Illinois river. They got it done big time and they did it for a good cause, too.
If you go fishing in Missouri, beware of flying carp. This is a real warning thanks to an invasive species that is apparently in need of being removed from Missouri's rivers.
There are ouch moments and there are OUCH moments. This is that 2nd one. It's a video that shows a Midwest fisherman getting smacked where the sun don't shine by a massive 40 pound carp.
You might be a big and bad fisherman, but you're not as big and bad as a midwestern bald eagle who just showed off his power by hauling in a huge carp.
I've said it before. Carp are mean. Don't believe me? There's a new video share that shows a carp that flew out of the water and into a fisherman's nose during a tournament in Bath, Illinois.
