Coyotes Spotted Everywhere in St. Louis, Cameras Prove It
St. Louis, Missouri residents have a good reason to be alarmed especially if they're pet owners. Many have claimed they've spotted coyotes running free through many neighborhoods and security camera videos prove they're not imagining things.
Coyotes in the St. Louis region is not a new thing
I remember seeing reports of coyotes in St. Louis neighborhoods years ago including this guy's video share back in 2021. At that time, KMOV was reporting that the coyote population in and around St. Louis was believed to have doubled.
The coyote presence is once again a story in St. Louis as Fox 2 in St. Louis has shared security camera video showing these wild animals have once again become a nuisance.
Are coyotes dangerous to humans?
Coyotes normally avoid contact with humans, but they can be dangerous for small children. While there is controversy about the topic, many believe that coyotes are very dangerous for small pets. I've seen enough pictures and videos to prove that coyotes can and will kill small pets if given the opportunity. Whether the old tale about coyotes conspiring to lure pets into the woods is accurate is debatable, but there's good reason why St. Louis pet owners should not leave their animals alone outside. Thanks to the many security camera videos, you can assume that the big city is and will remain a habitat for these troublesome small predators.
