Spring Cleaning to Take Place in The District

The District in Downtown Quincy are getting ready to Spring Clean this weekend, and here's how you can help. Get some family, friends or even co-workers together and help make the Heart of Quincy sparkle. Everyone is to meet in parking I (on 6th Street between Maine and Hampshire St) at 10 AM to pick up gloves and trash bags After you have your supplies, everyone will be assigned area to pick up litter. Cleaning should last only a few hours and you should be done by 12 PM.

There are a lot of goof things coming our way this summer in The District, including Blues in the District (back this summer after being canceled last summer), Q-Fest, Dogwood Festival, and Gus Macker. So, your help is needed to make the rea look great before all these events happen in 2021.

My girls and I love to walk around downtown, and its nice knowing that as a community we care about what people see first when coming into Quincy and making it look even better. If you would like to help volunteer this weekend, you can sign up online. If you are going to be around people you haven't see for some time, you are asked to wear a mask to stay safe.
