The 25th Annual Rollin' on the River Blues Festival is this weekend at Victory Park on the Mississippi River in Keokuk, Iowa. This two day event features seven bands in two nights.

Tonight's lineup features King Benny, Anthony Gomes and Samantha Fish beginning at 6:30.  Tomorrow's lineup has four groups playing beginning at 5:45 including The Rock Island Rollers, Mississippi Fever, Popa Chubby and Guitar Shorty.

Tickets for Rollin' on the River cost $15 a night or $25 for a weekend pass. Lawn chairs and blankets are recommended but no pets, cans, coolers, or bottles will be allowed on the premises. There will be plenty of great food and beverage available for purchase.

Twenty five years ago, the very first act was Buddy Holly's Crickets.  Rollin'on the River is the longest running blues festival in the tri state area.  In addition to stage performers, the event features musical workshops including a harmonica workshop featuring Quincy's own Carson Gay on Saturday afternoon.

So bring your friends to this year's Rollin' on the River Blues Festival tonight and tomorrow in Keokuk.
