There are plenty of attractions in the Quincy area for people to see, but one of the best kept secrets is located at the Illinois Veteran's Home. That attraction is the "Animal Park" where you can see a variety of animals and you can do so at absolutely no charge.

There are plenty of deer, ducks, and even a buffalo (located in a different area) at the Veteran's Home for people of all ages to enjoy. Many of the animals will come right up to you as they are definitely accustomed to visiting people.

So if you are looking for a place to bring the kids, although adults will certainly enjoy the visit as well, that place is the "Animal Park" at the Illinois Veteran's Home.  Remember to bring your camera!
