The food handout, which was made possible by the USDA Farmers, was donated to the Families Food Box Program. The Quincy Family YMCA received around 1,400 boxes of food that will be distributed Thursday, October 15 from 4 pm - 6 pm. Anyone who lives in Adams County can stop by and receive a box,

Food boxes contain perishable food items such as milk, cheese, yogurt, squash and other sources of protein. If you are wanting a box of food or have any additional questions, you are asked to call Johanna Voss at 217-222-9622, ext. 207.

I'm sure there are many families out there that will be very appreciative of this donation made by the USDA, that will help in a time where help is needed now more than ever before.
