Quincy Preserves Holding Walking Tour Saturday
This Saturday you can expect to see small groups of people wandering around the Washington Park area of Quincy as Quincy Preserves will be holding a guided walking tour of the beautiful historic downtown buildings from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
The Walking Tour will focus on Banking and Retail spaces encircling Washington Park, 6th Street Promenade, and Hampshire Street. Tours will be in small groups of 9 people with 1 tour guide, in accordance with Covid-19 restrictions. Masks are encouraged.
The tour stops take you all around The District buildings where you will see and hear about the pasts of these magnificent structures and their facades and some have been supported by Quincy Preserves during our 45 Year history.
Tickets are $10 in advance online only and will be coordinated in small groups with a designated meeting time and meeting place. Tickets are extremely limited, with only 100 tickets being sold for this event. Friends, who wish to go together, should have one person purchase the tickets for their group, to ensure they are assigned to the same tour guide at the same time. Purchase tickets at www.quincypreserves.org.
These tours help support and bolster Quincy’s unique catalog of great architecture through donations, scholarships, and commercial and residential facade programs.
