The Quincy night club owner alleged to have assaulted a patron of the club three months ago was in court Tuesday.

47 year old Steven Homan appeared briefly in Adams County Circuit Court Tuesday. Judge Amy Lannerd granted a motion by Homan’s attorney for more time for discovery.

Homan faces aggravated battery charges, in connection with an incident April 4th at The Barn night club.

Homan is alleged to have assaulted 19 year old Quincy University freshman Jazzpher Evans.

Homan was indicted on the charge April 29th and entered a not guilty plea May 10th.
He is due back in court August 24th. Homan remains free on bond.
