The Historical Society of Quincy and Adams County will be reopening its properties soon.

On its Facebook page, the society announced the Governor John Wood Mansion on South 12th Street is now open for tours by appointment and will resume normal operation starting April 26th.

Also, the History Museum on the Square at 332 Maine will open with a kickoff event April 23rd, then will return to its pre-COVID hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
