Quincy Exchange Club’s Field of Honor Coming in November

The Quincy Exchange Club has announced that The Field of Honor will be coming to Quincy next month. The Field of Honor, which is 1,000 American Flags arranged in neat rows and columns, will be on display at the Illinois Veterans Home over the upcoming Veterans Day weekend.

The Exchange Club is currently looking for businesses to sponsor the Field of Honor. Sponsorships are $1,000 and each business will get a couple of signs at the event, logo on the webpage for the year, as well as on the flyers and recognition in the media and at the event. Businesses will also get two subscriptions to the Flags of Honor.

The Flags of Honor program will follow next summer. For $30 a year, a homeowner can subscribe to have an American flag set up at their residence from dawn 'til dusk on Memorial Day, Flag Day, 4th of July and Labor Day. They will also have their flag placed in next year's Field of Honor on Veteran's Day weekend.
