Quincy Community Theatre to Hold Auditions for ‘A Christmas Carol’

Quincy Community Theatre will hold auditions for its musical adaptation of the classic holiday tale 'A Christmas Carol' on October 13 and 14. 40-minute audition appointments will be open each day for adults (ages 17+) from 6:15p.m. to 8:30p.m. and for children (ages 7-16) from 4:00p.m. to 5:30p.m.

'A Christmas Carol' is being directed by Artistic Director Brandon Thomsen. Donna Haire is serving as the Stage Manager.

The show will run December 4 through 7 and again December 11 through 14. All roles are available and all auditionees are welcome, regardless of prior experience. Auditionees are asked to prepare a song from a Broadway musical of their choice. A piano accompanist will be available, so please bring sheet music.

Auditionees should also familiarize themselves with the script, found online under ABOUT US: "Members and Volunteers." A password is required for access. A list of recommended audition songs, detailed audition requirements, and character descriptions are available at online as well.
