QPD Announces Arrest in the Case of Newcomb Hotel Fire

The Quincy Police Department held a news conference at Washington Park this afternoon, and announced an arrest in the case of Newcomb Hotel fire. 24-year-old Matthew C. Clark has been arrested in the case. Read more on the arrest and hear audio from the press conference at KHMORadio.com .

The Newcomb Hotel was the scene of a five-alarm fire on Friday, September 6 which left the entire structure in ruins. The Newcomb Hotel was built in 1888 and had been vacant for years prior to the fire.
