Q-Fest celebrates the very best in art and music with over 50 vendors on site at this year's event. Cancelled last yeast due to COVID-19, this is one of Quincy's biggest summer events for the whole family to enjoy. With lots of free activities for mom, dad, and the kids, there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy this weekend.

The three-day festival kicks of Friday at 5:30 - 9:30 pm and will feature the fine & fresh art show, the food court, plus it's the second concert for Blues in The District with Mississippi Heat performing Friday night.

On Saturday, the fine & fresh art show will start at 10 am - 5 pm, there will be free kids activities throughout Washington Park, the food court will be opened, and there will be music playing throughout the day from the park gazebo. The kid’s activities are really for the whole family to do, create art and most activities are free. I still have the art my girls made last summer and they had so much fun.

Saturday night the fun begins at 5:30 with the street concert. Gates will open at 7 pm with the band Top Gunz taking the stage at 8, with a $5 cover to see the street concert.

Sunday it all wraps up with the fine and fresh art show starting at 11 am until 4 pm, more kids’ activities will be available, plus music food and more.

LOOK: Stunning vintage photos capture the beauty of America's national parks

Today these parks are located throughout the country in 25 states and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The land encompassing them was either purchased or donated, though much of it had been inhabited by native people for thousands of years before the founding of the United States. These areas are protected and revered as educational resources about the natural world, and as spaces for exploration.

Keep scrolling for 50 vintage photos that show the beauty of America's national parks.
