
Parts of Missouri Could See Dump of 10 Inches of Snow by Midweek
We now have a better idea of what the incoming winter storms will do to Missouri this week and it's not good news for those who don't enjoy spending time with their snow shovels as parts of the state will see a dump of up to 10 inches of snow by midweek.
We already have shared the word that there will be 3 different winter storm systems impacting Missouri this week and the fact that Wednesday into Thursday will be the most severe. Weather With Travis on YouTube shared what the computer models think Missouri will see for snow totals by Thursday, Here's one model showing 7 or more inches of snow.
The GFS which is generally more reliable for winter storm systems says that some parts of Missouri will see up to 10 inches of snow.
Here's what the National Weather Service is saying in their latest update. Many parts of northeast Missouri have a 90% or greater chance of seeing more than 4 inches of snow.
Expect snow during nearly the entire day on Wednesday carrying over into Thursday morning. Some parts of southern Missouri could also see a significant ice event including the St. Louis area.
One way or another, Missouri will see significant snow this week and it could turn into the biggest snow of the year so far as the trends are currently going up. Plan and prepare for disruptive travel conditions in the middle of the week in Missouri.
