VIDEO: $400 Million Amusement Park Progress at Lake of the Ozarks
Once it's completed, this is gonna be some kind of epic destination in Missouri. There's new video showing progress on the nearly $400 million dollar amusement park as it's being built at Lake of the Ozarks.
As KOMU reported a few months ago, ground was broken in late May for the Oasis at Lakeport. There are now multiple videos showing how much has already been completed at the park that is due to be open to the public by May of 2025.
Here's video from July showing that massive walls have already been raised.
Lake Expo also had pictures of the roller coaster parts that are being readied for construction.
Now, just 4 days ago, a brand new video share on YouTube as a short revealed more walls and a sky coaster being built in the distance.
According to reports I've seen, the Oasis at Lakeport will be a growing attraction with new features to be added after it initially opens in May of 2025.
The Rollercoaster sub-Reddit seems to be excited about what they're seeing so far at Oasis at Lakeport and that's a good sign for those who enjoy exciting rides. It's obvious that a lot more still needs to be completed before next Spring. Let's hope the weather remains decent enough for them to get everything done so that debut doesn't get pushed back.
As new videos are shared showing progress, I will update this article for what looks to be a blockbuster Missouri destination in 2025.
