Northeast Missouri Needs Its Own Food Truck Festival ASAP
Do you enjoy food trucks? Do you feel like you see your favorite food trucks enough? I believe the case can be made that northeast Missouri in particular needs its own food truck festival as soon as possible.
I reserve the right to be wrong, but I am not aware of any current food truck festivals in Missouri closer to the northeast part of the state than St. Louis or Jefferson City. This idea about a food truck festival came to mind today as this is the day of the 10th annual food truck festival in Springfield, Missouri.
Why is this not being done in northeast Missouri? I know we have a lot of great regional food trucks, but it's so unpredictable about where they'll be and when. I'm a planner and rarely do I end up where food trucks are when I need or want food. A real food truck festival in northeast Missouri would give those vendors the chance to become better known and could be a real fun family event especially if we could convince a band to come perform, too. (Yes, I'm daydreaming with other people's money now)
Surely some of the brilliant business minds in the northern half of Missouri can figure out a way to make this a reality. I'm gonna guess that I'm not the only person who would really love a family-friendly event like this.
