Do you have dreams of movie stardom, but really can't manage relocating to Hollywood? Fear not as there are at least 3 real Hollywood movies being shot in Wisconsin this year.

I found this interesting movie industry casting site called Backstage. You can search for any variety of roles or (as I did in this case) locations. Here are 3 motion pictures that have Wisconsin roles just waiting for you.

'Psychopomp'

Synopsis: "an indie, horror short film. This short film will be entered into prestigious film festivals across the country and seen by film industry executives, agents, and producers."

Shoots Aug. 1-4 (1-2 days) in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, Ozaukee County.

'So Long, Farewell'

Synopsis: "Six years after their high school graduation, a group of gifted theater students return to their small Wisconsin town for the funeral of a former classmate."

Filming will occur in two blocks in the SE Wisconsin area; January 2025 and early summer 2025 (TBD, dependent on location availability). Casting will occur in multiple rounds.

Shoots July 31-Aug 5 in De Soto, WI.
