The Missouri Lottery says that someone on Monday, April 20, 2026 picked up a Powerball ticket from this Mountain View, Missouri Casey's and it's now worth a cool $1,000,000! The winning numbers Monday were 9-17-36-47-64 with a Powerball of 26. What would the lump sum take home be for a million dollar Missouri Lottery win?

An online lottery tax calculator says that your taxes in Missouri on a million collar win would be approximately $280,000 which means you'd walk away with $720,000 in a lump sum. That's approximate since everyone's tax situation is different, but the bottom line is it's a humongous amount of money.
