Someone in Moberly Just Won $50K — Are You the Winner?

If you knew that one stop would score you a cool 50 grand, you'd probably be pretty excited about that, am I right? Someone in Moberly, Missouri made a stop like that earlier this week and now has a ton of money to have fun with.

It's the Case n Keg located on South Morley Street in Moberly, Missouri. The Missouri Lottery's Unclaimed Prizes page says someone picked up a Powerball ticket at this humble Moberly location on Monday, October 6, 2025 which turned out to be a $50,000 winner. The fact that it's unclaimed means either the person fainted after seeing how much their ticket was worth or doesn't know it - yet.

In case you can't read the small print, the winning numbers Monday were 28, 29, 32, 66, 67 with a red Powerball number of 3. That's a cha-ching in someone's bank account. Now, I realize that taxes will take a chunk of that $50,000, but that's still a 5-figure take-home when all is said and done and with inflation being what it is, would be a really nice surprise to deal with. You can pay a lot of bills with that kind of cash. Hopefully the winner wakes up soon enough to claim their prize. They now have 6 months to come forward and take their place in the winner's circle before the money is forfeited to the state education fund.
