Missouri Trail Cam Video Shows Deer, Raccoons and Possum Feasting
This is about as close as you're gonna get to the Missouri version of The Jungle Book. A new trail cam video shows deer, raccoons and a possum all feasting together living in perfect harmony.
The person who just shared this video on YouTube did not mention where in Missouri this happened just that "it was in Missouri". It's a trail cam with a buck and doe, 2 raccoons and a lone possum all eating quietly in the same space. I expected to hear "Bear Necessities" playing in the background.
We have a lot of wildlife near the home we're in thanks to the fact that we live in the country. It's not unusual to see possums and rabbits eating seed and/or plants within feet of each other. However, this combination of 3 different species in Missouri is a new one.
It's one of those moments that makes you thankful to live in an area where a million people don't live and you can regularly expect wild animals in your backyard and/or backcountry trail.
