This is becoming an all-too-common happening as we make our way into 2025. A new report says that 4 more Missouri restaurants have recently bitten the dust joining the many others who have closed their doors.

You might recall that I shared the word two and a half weeks ago that 4 Missouri restaurants had shut their businesses down. Now, there's a new article from St. Louis Restaurant Review that mentions 2 of the restaurants I included a few weeks ago, but also adds 4 additional that are now closed or in the process of closing.

Here are the 4 Missouri restaurants that are closing in addition to the ones shared previously:

Peacock Diner - 6261 Delmar Blvd, University City, MO 63130

Daylight Donuts - 155 Hilltown Village Center Dr - Chesterfield, MO

One thing to note. I was able to confirm closures for the first 3 restaurants mentioned, but the Daylight Donuts in Chesterfield did not have a closure yet confirmed on their Google page. But, I was able to confirm that their Facebook page is no longer active. The link to place an order through their Instagram page also showed the store is closed.

It's unfortunate that so many Missouri restaurants have decided to call it a day already in 2025. Let's hope as the weather improves that the economy will also and will lead to many more Missouri restaurant openings than closings.
