Drone Video Shows Mountain Lion Hunting Deer in Missouri

There is incredible new video captured by a drone in mid-Missouri showing a mountain lion stalking several deer across a field.

Midwest Deer Surveys shared incredible video on their Facebook page where they were watching several deer, but then saw this big cat looking up at the drone

Watch the video for yourself as Jack Huston does a great job explaining what happened when he was following deer with his drone last week and came across an unexpected apex predator lurking in the nearby tree line.

According to a video report by KSDK, this video was captured in Saline County. They say that the Missouri Department of Conservation is now investigating to confirm this mountain lion sighting which would be the 121st overall in Missouri and the first in more than a year and a half. Jack Huston ends his video with a word of warning to those who are adventuring in the backcountry in mid-Missouri that you need to be aware of the possibility of big cats roaming nearby.
