Is Missouri’s Most ‘Boring’ City Next Door to the Most Dangerous?
I demand a recount. The internet claims that it knows what the most boring city in Missouri is. The problem is that the one they've chosen is practically next-door neighbors with one of the most dangerous cities in America. What gives?
I would like to contend that what is boring to one person is probably not boring to many others. It's a very subjective thing to throw out a blanket "this is the most boring Missouri place" kind of thing. That's just me talking.
That being said, the very snarky Roadsnacks site has named what they are convinced is Missouri's most boring city and it is...(*drum roll*)...
Willard, Missouri
By the way, they came to this conclusion saying that boring cities are "the places where everyone has an AARP card and the most exciting thing they do all day is post a picture of their grandchild on Facebook". Somehow I feel like they're talking about people like me.
Here's my other problem with the theory that Willard is so "boring". Look where it's located.
How can you be boring when you're just to the northwest of Springfield which has been named one of the most dangerous cities in America? Last time I checked, dodging bullets isn't enjoyable, but it's also not boring.
Here's another problem. Willard is located in one of the most scenic parts of Missouri. It's dang pretty.
If this is boring, I do not want to be exciting. Seriously, this part of Missouri rocks.
