Unclaimed $50K Prize in Missouri Expires in Days
Wouldn't you hate it if you learned that you had $50,000 waiting for you, but you didn't learn about it in time and the prize was forfeited? That's the reality for someone in Missouri who has a ticket worth $50K, but the deadline before it's forfeited is just days away.
According to the Missouri Lottery, someone stopped at this small St. Ann, Missouri store in mid-November of last year
This store is located at 10201 St Charles Rock Road in St. Ann, Missouri. On November 15, 2025, someone bought a Powerball ticket there with the numbers 6-7-12-47-53 and a Powerball number of 21. That ticket is a winner and worth $50,000, but it's still on the Missouri Lottery's Unclaimed Prizes page. The deadline for someone to come forward and claim this prize is May 14, 2026 which is less than a month from the date of this writing.
What happens if a Missouri Lottery prize goes unclaimed and is forfeited?
The Missouri Lottery donates all unclaimed prizes into the state's education fund. That means if the person who bought this ticket in mid-November doesn't come forward they'll be helping our schools unintentionally which is great for education, but not for their bank account. Depending on when you're reading this, you might still have time if you were the person that picked up a Powerball ticket in November, but the clock is ticking.
