Fast Food Chain with Fastest Drive-Thru Has 48 Missouri Locations

Do you grab fast food often? If so, is the speed of the drive-thru a factor in deciding where you go? If you say yes, you might be interested to know that the fast food chain with reportedly the fastest drive-thru in America now has 48 Missouri locations.

I saw this interesting deep dive into fast food chain drive-thru lanes done by Restaurant Dive which makes sense. According to information they shared, the study was done by secret shoppers by Intouch Insight. Overall, there was one brand that dominated the drive-thru speed charts and that was Chick-fil-A.

As of this writing, the official Chick-fil-A location page shows 48 Missouri restaurants.

The rest of the survey showed relative newcomer Raising Cane's 2nd followed by McDonalds and Taco Bell. McDonalds in particular showed a big improvement over last year's fast food drive-thru speed test.

The big picture shows that overall fast food drive through performances are improving with the average wait time now being 5 1/2 minutes compared to over 6 last year.

Since my car is almost always packed with children when I'm on a fast food quest, speed of getting successfully in and out (no burger pun intended) is important to our family and maybe to yours, too.
