Numerous Reports of Drones Over Missouri & Video to Prove It
If you've been following the drone drama on the East Coast, you might be interested to know that Missouri is now a part of it. There are many who have reported seeing these objects at night and there's even video to prove it.
Over the years, I have gained a reputation for being a magnet for weird things happening in Missouri. Whenever someone sees something odd, they immediately reach out to me which I will take as a compliment. I had a woman send me a note this morning about drones over Missouri. I won't include her name for privacy purposes, but here are her exact words:
"Thank you for your report of the drone sightings; I just saw one at 2:30 am on Saturday, December 14 over St. Charles flying west toward the Fox River south of Ronzheimer Street, but I did not move quickly enough to capture it on video."
She's not alone. Another person captured video in Missouri late Friday night and shared it.
Could these be just regular recreational drones being seen over Missouri?
Anything at this point is possible, but there's a general rule that drones are not supposed to be flown at night without special anti-collision lighting, but there is much confusion as you can see on this Reddit conversation.
Question: Official start/end of "night" as it applies to drone laws in the US?

Here's the big problem in my opinion. Since the government isn't getting to the bottom of the drone mysteries, the rest of us are having to come up with our own theories. I also would not be surprised if individuals are now more motivated to fly their drones at night to try and become a part of the story. It's a mess and until we get some real expert authorities to nail down what's going on, this drone hysteria will only continue to ramp up and you can now include Missouri in this phenomena.
