Mark Twain United Way Starts ’40 Days for $40,000′ Campaign

The United Way of the Mark Twain Area’s annual fund raising campaign is in the home stretch.

Back in September, the United Way set a goal of $425,000 for its 2020-21 Be a Hero campaign. Officials say they are within $40,000 of reaching that goal.

To get to their goal, the United Way board of directors has launched a special 40 Days for $40,000 campaign.

Money raised during the annual campaign goes to help a number of non-profit organizations in northeast Missouri provide services for their communities.
