Mark Twain Riverboat is Among The Best in Missouri
Hannibal has a lot of fantastic places to visit and explore, but one of their most famous touristy things recently received some high praise from onlyinyourstate.com.
The Mark Twain Riverboat was named as one of the top paddle boat cruises in the state, and I have to agree. I have been in the Tri-States since 1991 and had never taken the boat tour on the Mississippi until last year. Townsquare Media rented out the riverboat for a night and it was amazing. The moon was full, the night air was perfect, and the dinner they served was amazing.
There are several tours that the Mark Twain Riverboat does and I suggest doing ALL OF THEM. Captain Steve does an amazing job telling stories of the Mississippi, Hannibal, and the caves. There are dinner cruises and sightseeing cruises all available at different times and days.
With most of us living in or near Hannibal, we really don't think about all the fun touristy things that the city has to offer. And if you find yourself bored one day, grab the kids and just tour everything the city has to offer; the lighthouse, the Tom Sawyer Boyhood Home, Mark Twain Riverboat, and much much more!
Cruises for the 2018 year will begin shortly and they fill up fast. If you have kids they will love going up and down the Mississippi and riding on a fancy boat. To book a cruise and to get more information visit the Mark Twain Riverboat website.
