Knapheide Corporation to Add 250 New Jobs

One of Quincy oldest businesses, The Knapheide Corporation, has announced a major expansion.  The expansion, announced by Senior Vice President, Bo Knapheide, is expected to create some 250 new positions according to a report on the KHQA website.  The ground breaking to build a new 188,000 square-foot manufacturing building is expected to take place in March and will be located at the northwest corner of 30^th and Koch’s lane.

It is expected that the new facility will be fully operational by March of 2018.  The company has been in business since 1848.
