Keokuk's "Rollin' on the River" Blues Festival for years has taken their profits and turned them into scholarships for area high school students.  This year is no exception as they have awarded two scholarships this year to Keokuk High School students. These scholarships are awarded to students who intend to major or minor in music in a college or university and demonstrate financial need.

The two recipients of the 2019 Scholarships are Marisa Bunn, who intends to major in Music Education. Marisa’s goal is “to teach young students at the elementary or high school level”.  The second recipient, Corgan Blaise Ball, intends to major in Music Education, with a minor in Music Therapy.

Since 2012 ROR has presented a total of 20 scholarships to Tri-State Area graduating Seniors including the two awarded this year.

This year's "Rollin' on The River" blues festival will be held on August 16 & 17 in Keokuk's Victory Park.
