Illinois Hunter Says Something Huge Slammed Walls on His Cabin

Picture this. You're alone in the woods of Illinois when you hear something huge that seems to be pounding the walls of your cabin. That was the horrifying reality for a hunter in Illinois who shared his first-hand stories of strange things that happened on that trip.

One of the best YouTube channels that shares odd stories from the woods is Bigfoot Society. A few weeks ago, they shared the story of a man named John who was hunting near the Iroquois River in Illinois. This is a river that originates in Indiana and twists its way into eastern Illinois.

He said that he felt like something was watching him in the woods, but he dismissed it and continued on his hunt. He noticed something rustling in a thicket and then heard what he says sounded like a female scream, but upon investigation, there was nothing there. He finished the day and returned to his cabin which is when things got spookier.

John - "All of a sudden...there is a wall right in front of me...there are two big knocks on the wall so now I'm flipping out...I'm starting to get mad because I think someone is messing with me".

John grabbed his pistol and planned to head outside to see what made the sound, but something in his mind told him to not open that door. He tries to relax again and eventually fell asleep. Then his sleep was interrupted.

John - "About 3 o'clock in the morning, I start hearing something hitting the roof of the cabin...it sounded like rocks...there were like 5 of them that hit...then they just stopped. Now I'm actually scared."

John decides to wait for sunlight so he can leave the camping area. As he gathered his things, he eventually leaves the cabin and sees no sign of any disturbance outside of his cabin.

This was just one of many experiences John had during that Illinois camping trip. He also found huge areas of woods that were flattened almost like it was a bedding area...for something.

I highly recommend listening to John telling his own story. He seems truthful and very convinced of what he experienced and he's not the only one that has had these type of encounters.
