Videos Show Massive 40-Vehicle Pileup on I-70 in Illinois

We knew that driving would be treacherous as winter storm Blair wreaked havoc throughout Missouri and Illinois and this is evidence of that. New video shows a massive 40-vehicle pileup that shut I-70 in Illinois for hours.

This new video was shared by Midwest Towing and Auto Sales, LLC on Facebook/Meta. It shows the results of a 40-vehicle pileup on I-70 on the Illinois side of the river.

According to CDL Life, this accident happened at 1:30pm near Greenup, Illinois on I-70 near mile marker 124. Here's another video that shows the accident scene.

There is no word on any injuries that happened as the result of this accident. This article will be updated once new information is shared by the Illinois State Police.
