Secret Sting in Illinois Busts 6 for Alleged Human Trafficking

Illinois State Police just completed a secret two day sting operation that has resulted in the arrest of six individuals for allegedly participating in the trafficking of humans.

The Public Information Office of the Illinois State Police just shared the news today of 6 arrests that resulted from a secret sting operation in the Rockford area that took place on December 4 and December 5. The Illinois State Police said the focus was "identifying individuals seeking to engage in commercial sex acts".

Here are the accused:

• Carlos A. Rivera (50) of Rockford, IL – Indecent Solicitation a Child/Aggravated Sex (Class1 Felony), Traveling to Meet a Child (Class 3 Felony), and Solicitation to Meet a Child 5Years of Age + (Class 4 Felony)
• Harry J. Hulmes III (57) of Machesney Park, IL – Indecent Solicitation a Child/Aggravated Sex (Class 1 Felony), Traveling to Meet a Child (Class 3 Felony), and Solicitation to Meet a Child 5 Years of Age + (Class 4 Felony)
• Jon D. Juhlin (58) of Rockford, IL – Indecent Solicitation a Child/Aggravated Sex (Class 1 Felony), Traveling to Meet a Child (Class 3 Felony), and Solicitation to Meet a Child 5 Years of Age + (Class 4 Felony)
• Lavonte D. Allen (32) of Rockford, IL – Indecent Solicitation a Child/Aggravated Sex (Class 1 Felony), Traveling to Meet a Child (Class 3 Felony), and Solicitation to Meet a Child 5 Years of Age + (Class 4 Felony)
• Nathan D. Hayes (31) of Pecatonica – Indecent Solicitation a Child/Aggravated Sex (Class 1 Felony), Traveling to Meet a Child (Class 3 Felony), and Solicitation to Meet a Child 5 Years of Age + (Class 4 Felony)
• Gerald L. Hochastatter (71) of Delevan, WI - Indecent Solicitation a Child/Aggravated Sex (Class 1 Felony), Traveling to Meet a Child (Class 3 Felony), and Solicitation to Meet a Child 5 Years of Age + (Class 4 Felony)

This operation in Illinois was an effort that the Illinois State Police say included "ISP special agents, officers from ISP Troops 1 and 3, ISP SWAT, and the ISP Intelligence Support Unit, partnered with the State Line Area Narcotics Team and the Blackhawk Area Task Force".
