They say that a mystery person walked into this Speedway gas station located at 8759 W 95th Street at Hickory Hills, Illinois and picked up a Lucky Day Lotto ticket. Lucky it was as it ended up being worth a staggering $500,001. I love the fact that they added that $1 at the end. That should cover all those Illinois taxes and yes, that's sarcasm. There's only one problem with this lucky lottery ticket. The winner doesn't seem to know they have it as it's listed on the Illinois Lottery Unclaimed Prizes page.

The good news is there's no reason for this person to panic since they have a full calendar year to claim their Illinois Lottery prize. There is reason to panic if you remember stopping by this Illinois gas station a few days ago and now can't find your ticket. That would be a costly mistake - literally a half million dollar whoopsie.
