Now that Christmas is over, you might be wondering what to do with that seven-foot decaying evergreen that is taking up space in your living room and making everything smell all "piney". Fortunately for you, one of the biggest annual fundraisers for members of Cub Scout Pack #1 and Boy Scout Troop #1 is coming January 5.

The scouts are conducting their annual Christmas Tree Pick-Up program on January 5 beginning at 8:00 am (NOTE: this is the only day for the service, so plan accordingly). For just ten dollars, members of the troop will pick up and haul off your Christmas tree.

To schedule a pick up, just call 515-635-5842 and leave a message with your name, address, and (if applicable) any special directions. The tree must be brought outside and visible to the scouts. The trees will be disposed of properly.

All funds raised will benefit supplies for area Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts in 2019.
