Here is One Way To Help Prevent Child Abuse
April is National Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month. A few weeks ago signs starting appearing to bring awareness to the problem of child abuse to our area. Well, the Advocacy Network for Children is continuing to sell those yard signs in its nine-county region to bring awareness and raise money for the agency.
The Advocacy Network for Children recognizes the importance of families and communities working together to prevent child abuse and neglect and promotes the social and emotional well-being of children and families. During this month of April, as well as throughout the year, communities are encouraged to increase awareness to the problem to prevent child abuse and neglect.
Your show of support is greatly appreciated. You can still purchase a yard sign (see above) for $10.00 at the following locations:

In addition, signs will be available at the agency’s administrative office located at 1420 Harrison Street in Quincy.
Another way to show support is to be a part of "Blue Mondays" during April. You are being asked to wear blue clothing on Monday during this Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month to show your support and awareness.
