With the school season ramping up, the Hannibal Parks and Recreation Department has announced it is cutting back on Ramp Park hours.

The Ramp Park at Huckleberry Park will start fall hours beginning Monday, Aug. 17. The Ramp Park will be open 4:00 p.m. until dusk on weekdays and from noon until dusk on weekends.

In an effort to comply to COVID-19 precautions, there is a limit of 50 people at the Ramp Park at any one time. No helmet rentals are available and patrons have to abide by physical distancing practices. The Ramp Park attendant will disinfect high-traffic areas.

The Ramp Park at Huckleberry is designed for roller skates, roller blades, skateboards, bicycles and scooters. The cost is $2 on weekdays and $3 on weekends.
