Hannibal's JCPenney store is back open to shoppers after a two-month quarantine shutdown.  The store has adjusted its hours for the time being as the state phases in reopening plans.  Temporary store hours are from noon until 7:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and on Sundays from noon until 5:30 p.m. Click here for more details.

While JCPenney has closed many stores nationwide, including their Quincy location, the Hannibal store at the Huck Finn Shopping Center has continued to thrive.  It's one of two department stores in town, but as we explained in an earlier article, the Hannibal Gordman's store is going out of business.

The location was opened only a year ago in Hannibal, but the chain has declared bankruptcy.  Gordman's store closing sales are going on now under the limited hours of 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and on Sundays noon until 5:00 p.m. at the Huck Finn Shopping Center.
