A video was recently shared that makes me think of a children's book that grew up and got an action sequel.

Farmer Jaap Beets from Greenland was in his farmhouse on September 5th when he heard a bunch of noise outside that sounded like the animals were upset about something.

His CCTV footage showed that a goshawk dive-bombed one of the chickens to try and get a quick dinner. That pissed off the chicken's friends quite a bit, like the friendly neighborhood goat and one of the roosters.

First off, one of the farm's roosters runs in to start attacking the hawk until more help arrives. It turns out, goats aren't just good for yoga, but they're actually badass heroes when they need to be.

The goat runs into frame and starts kicking the absolute crap out of the hawk before it hurt the chicken any more than the minor injuries from the initial attack.

“I was so proud of the rooster and the goat jumping in to defend our chicken,” Beets told SWNS. “I was also very relieved that the chicken survived.”

The hero duo saved the chicken's life, and it's not the first time. After the hawk flew off, the animals went back to their usual business.

“In the seven years I have lived here, it’s the third attack on our chickens,” Beets said. “This was the second from a goshawk and the other was a buzzard.”

Beets said that the other attacks also featured hero rescues from unexpected farm animals.

Most of the internet has asked when the Disney adaptation will be coming out.
