Caught on Camera: St. Louis Twister Slams Into Man
This is a remarkable experience that few get to see and even fewer live to tell about it. A Missouri man shared harrowing video as a huge St. Louis tornado slammed directly into him.
Kurt Von Wayne on TikTok was in Forest Park in St. Louis, Missouri on May 16, 2025 when the sky began to turn nasty. He could see a spinning wall cloud in the distance.
What he didn't realize was that the clouds approaching him were really a rain-wrapped twister which would later be rated as a monster EF-3 storm. By the time debris began to appear in front of him, it was too late to run.
The tornado winds began to impact him directly knocking him down as he continued to capture video showing the vortex spinning over him.
Watch his video which spans 4 minutes beginning with the storm approaching him and ending after the tornado has taken him off of his feet. This is remarkable video.

This shows how dangerous rain-wrapped tornadoes can be. By the time you identify it as a twister, it's upon you. This guy is very fortunate to have survived this tornado. Sadly, many in St. Louis did not.
