Just so you know, this is NOT my own personal ranking. Nope. I'm not jumping into that potential dumpster fire of anger. No way. This is a new ranking of America's Top Fishing Destinations by 24/7 Wall St.
How is science involved? Well, here are the 4 main metrics they used to determine why Wisconsin fishing rules and Minnesota's doesn't (allegedly):
- Non-resident fishing licenses, tags, permits, & stamps issued
- Non-resident fishing license, tag, permit, & stamp sales
- State surface area covered by water
- Shoreline (Great Lakes and oceans)

Both states end up in the top 10, but Wisconsin is ranked as the 5th best fishing destination while Minnesota is ranked as the 7th best. Sorry, kids. Not everyone gets a trophy this time.
But, fishing is great in our part of America, so can't we all just get along? The fish are biting...
