The Herald-Whig, along with the Quincy Mall, will sponsor the Feed Quincy's Need food drive.

This will be part of this season's Taste of Home Cooking School event. This is a community effort to celebrate acts of caring by the Quincy Community and to raise awareness and help add to the food pantry at Horizon's Social Services in Quincy.

Just bring non-perishable items to the Quincy Mall customer service desk any time between September 1 and September 30. As an added bonus, all donors will receive a Mall Crawl gift bag filled with savings from the Quincy Mall stores while supplies last.

In addition, donations will be accepted at the Taste of Home Cooking School on Thursday, September 24 at the Oakley-Lindsay Center. Anyone who donates at the event will receive an entry(one per item donated)for the chance to win a Taste of Home Holidays and Celebrations Cookbook or a $100 Quincy Mall Gift Card.
