My family and I LOVE going to the many trails here in Quincy, and some we just recently discovered. Getting the family together and exploring the trails is some of the best memoires I have with my family, and I hope it continues. So here's a list of some of our favorite hiking trails in Quincy.

Bill Klingner Trail

Located off of North 18th, this has been a major project for the Quincy Park District and it paid off. The trail is amazing, there are so many different ways to go and explore. My family and I find new things everything time we walk or ride our bike. This is on out top list for trails to visit.

Bob Mays Park

Bob Mays Park serves as the 18th Street trailhead for Bill Klingner Trail. The park includes 53 acres of restored prairie with interpretive signage. Another one of our favorite especially for exploring flowers and trees, if your kids every have a science project about tree and identifying them. This is the park to explore.

South Park

Since this is the closet park to our house we are ALWAYS in South Park, Whether the girls are riding bikes, playing on the playground, I am walking or running this park has something for the entire family. And its a great park to watch Quincy Grand Prix of Karting.

Friends of the Trails

This park is a collaboration of several organizations in Quincy that wanted a help implement this outstanding quality of life improvement for our community, according to their mission statement. Another trail we just love visiting on a nice day, with beautiful sights along the way., Lots of Instagram backgrounds available.

Indian Mounds

If you like hills this is the trail for you, get that cardio in and burn those calories. We visit this won not as much, but still a great trail to run/walk with the family or by yourself.

Whatever trail you decided to walk/run on you will not be disappointment, we are so lucky to have these in our town. So get out and enjoy them!
