Downtown Quincy to Host ‘Nightmare On 6th Street’
I am always hesitant to go anywhere with "nightmare" in the title, but this actually sounds like a ton of fun.
A Halloween event for the entire family, the first ever "Nightmare on 6th Street" is this Thursday, October 18, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Kids are encouraged to dress up in costume and take part in the many activities available. Food and drinks will be available as well as live music.
Kids can Trick-or-Treat at participating downtown businesses in advance of Halloween night. In addition, downtown retailers from all over the District will be open late (until 8:00 pm) so you can swing by later than usual.
Like so many events in The District, this event is entirely free for everyone. This is a really good opportunity to see what's new in The District, and what changes are coming (all good, I promise). Plus, your kids will get some extra mileage out of this year's costume. I will see ya there!
