Missouri Man & His Friends Say They Shot and Wounded a Bigfoot

It's one thing to say you believe there's a creature known as Bigfoot. It's another to say you think you've seen one of these mysterious beasts. A Missouri man has taken it a step further as he says he and his friends shot and wounded a Bigfoot.

The Missouri YouTube channel Sasquatch Theory just shared a video interview with a man from the Van Buren, Missouri area who tells quite a tale. It involves what occurred when he took some friends hunting and they had a terrifying encounter near their tents at night:

"There in the middle and we laid down we talking for a little bit and I could hear something walking up and it it's it's pretty wide open. Now I'm hearing some long strides the nearest brush I'm going to say here to that shed 30 to 40 feet away from us...I thought hey ain't no way that's a deer in the middle of the night coming up check out our fire or whatever it is, but I got up unzipped the tent and walked around and look and I didn't see anything I got back in the tent sit down fixing lay back down on my my sleeping"

He eventually went to the truck to get the rifles and guns that were locked up and returned to the tent and that's when things took a more serious turn...

"I hear something come up from the side something come up from this side and between me and the far about as close to me to David a a silhouette of something came up between us. I can see something standing I didn't ask questions I pulled the rifle put it through the bottom of the tent where the three zippers connect I pulled the trigger I chambered it I pulled the trigger and chambered it again and while I'm shooting out the bottom of the tent Chuck shooting through the tent and I come out of there and he said "what is it" and I said I don't have any idea I said but if it comes at you you better start shooting and we started pulling the trigger I emptied a 44 magnum he emptied a 308."

Whatever was outside of their tent took off. The next day he found what appeared to be part of a shoulder blade with part of the flesh still attached to it near the campfire, so he went to the nearest town and told the sheriff that if anyone reported being shot to come talk to him as he and his friends had shot something near their campfire. No one ever came forward to report a shooting. 

You can have a chuckle at this Missouri man's story if you want to, but I'm convinced that he believes he's telling the truth. What did he and his friends unload ammunition into that night and how big does a creature have to be to survive that kind of firepower?
